English translation

The morning begins chilly, the temperature being +12 C degrees, but it's getting colder and the temperature is about to drop to + 8 before the noon. I have to get my long-sleeved shirt, although all the others have already been garbed to jackets and winter caps. The air is still going to get as cold as +4 C degrees when we reach the Greenland's coastline, but the inner solarium is making me feel warm and I enjoy the frosty wind by leaning over the gunwale. The waving sea has a hypnotic effect and I could stare it ad infinitum, with nothingness surrounding me. The fog is starting to surround us and the range of visibility drops to the couple hundred meters. I sit in Cafe Navigare, drink Gin Grape, write the tales beyond the seas and listen music from the headphones. I feel bit tensioned as I am waiting the arrival to the coast.

Then the miracle happens, sun is shining through the fog and first icebergs emerges. Soon after the fog is clearing and Greenland coastline appears into view. The situation is kind of familiar when seeing first time the Iceland's coastline couple years ago, but somehow still bit more exciting. I try to keep calm although I'm bursting with excitement, like an icy dam breaking inside of me. The coastline is barren and the mouth of Prince Christian Sound is blocked by a massive ice floe and it's preventing us to enter there. Frosty and angry wind is hitting like a cold whip but I don't care as the eternal burning is inside of me and that warms me up in even in the heaviest winds. And I know that I won't ever let it fade, with the uneasiness on my shoulders, and the vagabond's spirit in my eyes. And the uneasiness is growing all the time. I'm pondering where is my home, or can it ever exist for me.

We are proceeding towards south aiming to round the Greenland's southern tip and the sun is shining from the clear sky. Fragmented and sharp-pointed mountains are providing unparalleled view and I open the bottle of red wine for the roundtrip of Kap Farvel (Cape Farewell), as this being the first Cape for me in my lifetime. I'm enjoying as the sun is shining straight into the coarse soul of mine. I can hear the faraway calling of the glacier fields, the echo of the cold land when the mountains are whispering.

Whales are escorting the white clouds on the side of our ship and spraying huge columns of water in the air. I'm again on the journey of my life, by the sea currents exploring the narrow path deep inside to my mind. Here the everyday matters and the whole wide world disappears to the horizon, there's just me and the ocean. And the whales. I think the lonesomeness of the whales when they are wandering hundreds of nautical miles in the murmur of the sea, in the sharp waves and deep under the water.

Can they hear the calling of each other's?
It is told that the humpback whales are singing, can they find each other in the infinity of the oceans. And can anyone hear me…

Bysailing iceberg causes mystical mirage (fata morgana) and we are traveling southward and towards the southern tip of Greenland. Suddenly after Kap Farvel the sea is mirror calm, like blue wavy velvet. On the bridge the ship's bow is heading towards the burning sun and I read our location from the navigator

I stare at the sun when it dives to the sea with the yellowish-red edge and drowns me into the deep quietness and only the distant waves do love me. Tomorrow I'm leaving my footprints into this barren and mythic land. I hold on the ship's rail and stare into the distance and for once in my life I'm seeing all the way.
